Ladd Peebles Stadium

The Historic Ladd Peebles Stadium

Ladd Peebles Stadium, formerly Ernest F. Ladd Memorial Stadium, was officially opened in 1948 with specific purpose, according to Mayor Ernest Megginson, of, “Civic, religious and cultural, as well as athletic events. ” [1] This stadium in its 76 years of existence has done well to manifest this statement by Mayor Megginson into a reality.
